Bus operator Arriva routes 1 and 2 in Hinckley will no longer operate
Arriva is making a number of changes to its bus network in and around Hinckley.
The company has released a list of changes to services, due to come into effect from August 29.
Arriva has reviewed its services and is introducing one to a new housing development, as well as enhancing services for shift workers at Hinckley Park and Magna Park.
There will also be improved links for students travelling between Lutterworth and Nuneaton.
However, routes 1 and 2 in Hinckley will no longer operate as customer demand has reduced. Leicestershire County Council is assessing the need for any alternative provision.

Toby France, head of commercial for Arriva Midlands said: “Passengers are at the heart of everything we do, and we listen to them and react to their feedback.
“The changes that we’re making mean that many customers will see an improved, more punctual, more reliable service – which is a boost for the area.
“Unfortunately, that does mean that we have to stop running services which are no longer sustainable because the customer demand just is not there – and we understand that this will come as a disappointment for the small number of people this affects.
“We’re always open to listening to our passengers and taking on board their comments when we can, and working with the local authority to ensure we can make public transport as good as we can for the communities we serve.”
The Arriva website timetables and journey planner have been updated to reflect the changes.
