A 15-year-old boy has been charged following two reports of burglary in Earl Shilton.

The boy – who cannot be named for legal reasons – has been charged with one count of burglary dwelling and theft, which relates to an incident in Meadow Court Road and one count of attempted burglary dwelling with intent to steal, which relates to an incident in Coniston Close. Both incidents occurred on Monday (12 February).

He has also been charged with one count of theft from a motor vehicle, relating to an incident in Windermere Close yesterday (Tuesday).

The boy is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday).
