A pedestrian is in hospital with serious injuries following a collision involving an e-bike in Hinckley.
The incident happened at around 01:40 BST on Saturday (7 September) on Normandy Way, when a man in his 40s was struck by the e-bike.
Leicestershire Police said the man remains in hospital in a stable condition.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
The road was closed for a time after the crash but has since reopened. Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
