Get ready for an evening of fun on two wheels as Mallory Mile returns to the iconic Mallory Park Circuit on Monday, 9 June, as part of the local National Bike Week celebrations.
From 6pm to 8pm, families are invited to bring their bicycles and enjoy a free, family-friendly event designed to promote cycling in a safe, traffic-free setting.
Organised by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council in collaboration with Mallory Park Racing Real Motorsport Limited, the event offers a rare chance to cycle around the famous track without the worry of cars or traffic.
No pre-booking is required—just turn up with your bike and don’t forget your cycle helmet, which is mandatory for all riders. Please note: scooters and roller skates are not permitted on the circuit.
A spokesperson from the council described the event as “a fantastic opportunity for families to build their cycling confidence, or for community groups to get involved in some lap-based fundraising for a good cause.”
Councillor Mark Bools, Deputy Leader of the Council, added:
“We’re thrilled to see this much-loved event return to Mallory Park during National Bike Week. It’s a brilliant chance for people of all ages to enjoy cycling in a secure environment.
How many laps can you do? Come along, get involved—and don’t forget your helmet!”
