Today we say a sad goodbye to the Mobile Community Pantry, which has now officially closed. Thank you for being a part of our Tuesdays – we’ve loved having you with us!
The Earl Shilton mobile pantry, operated by Feed The Hungry UK, had been supporting the community for nearly two years. Since launching in April 2023, the pantry distributed over 1,500 food parcels and provided essential support to around 4,500 people. It offered fresh, frozen, and ambient food at affordable rates to those struggling financially, alongside a selection of toiletries and cleaning products.
Although the pantry has now closed, Feed The Hungry UK continues to appeal to businesses, community organizations, and individuals to help support their other projects that assist those in need.
