New waste collection service
Residents who are having a home or garage clear out can now make use of the council’s new ‘Big Bin’ service.
The Big Bin Clear Out collection service is aimed at those who are throwing out numerous items which are too big to fit in a standard waste bin, but not enough to fill a skip.
In using the service, residents can enjoy the convenience of not having to put waste items in their car, arrange transport or even organise a private collection service.
Prices start at £50 for one 660 litre bin (the equivalent of almost three standard-sized black bins) or £60 for one 1100 litre bin (the equivalent of 4.5 standard-sized black bins). For more information, further pricing, or to book the service, please click here.
