Year 6 pupils need to apply for their school place for next September

Parents with children due to start secondary school next year are being reminded to apply online for a school place before the deadline at the end of this month. Missing the Monday, October 31 deadline can lead to youngsters being less likely to get into their preferred schools.

Applications can be made online at www.leicester.gov.uk/admissions. Children living in the area or are attending a school in Year 6, should have received a letter that contains key information about secondary schools, including catchment area schools.
