Town Centre public toilet formally opened

“For well over a decade the growing town of Earl Shilton has been without a modern proper and easily accessible public toilet.

This essential amenity is restored to the Town in large part due to the unwavering efforts of former Borough and County Councillor, now County Honorary Alderman, Mrs Janice Richards.

Just as important is the way in which the 3 tiers of local government, Town, Borough and county Councils; have jointly project managed and funded provision of this up to date facility to its successful conclusion and long term benefit of residents and visitors to the town.

The public toilet is located in the foyer of the Wood Street Public Library and can be accessed by simply walking up to the main door 6 days a week, (Monday to Saturday – early morning to early evening), whether or not the Library or Town Council Office is in staffed mode.”
